form bound
in tourniquet
from which there is
no escape

wherever i go
Your absence arrives
before i do
gripping, binding,
choking

obliterating all else

she looks at me
with soft, gentle eyes
mocks me
a sweet half-smile,
an eyebrow raised:

where do you think you can go
without me?
i am your companion
in solitude and crowd
home or wilderness

there
before you are

she glows,
she grows
and fills up everything
makes the whole world
radiate with an ache
for which
the only comfort,
only cure
is You

where are You?
